In reality, it’s an adaptation “for children” of the Zodiac Notebooks for adults ! 🙂
It contains coloring, lines of writing, following the signs of the zodiac, we discover a little “their mythology”, the solar system, and it’s the opportunity to review what can be learnt at the school while awakening to astrology, planetary functions, the notion of cycles.
Here it’s not a question of dealing with very deep and elaborate astrological concepts (this remains very “basic” and focused on play and awakening), but above all to familiarize the child with the concepts of the zodiac signs and the planets, their glyphs, then especially with the concept of “his” birth chart, so that the child becomes more aware of “his” energies, and that he/she can already somehow start to “appropriate” them.
It’s a notebook more for young children, about 10 years old and less (from 5-6 years old), it’s a lot of coloring put forward and a more “cosmonaut” theme to visit space, see the beautiful colors of the planets with watercolor drawings… 😉
So it remains “childish”, and beyond that for older teenagers it may be too “babyish”, it will be more necessary to approach the birth chart as an adult.
I tried to preserve as much as possible the games, drawings or learnings thematics, according to the planets’ thematics.
For example, for mercury, I have emphasized memorization and calculation abilities, for saturn, organization and management abilities, for venus, a focus on relationships, etc.
The important notions of cycle are also approached through the bases of the lunar cycle.
At the end of the notebook, a double page is used to materialize the birth chart of the child, with the help of mom or dad of course, then a software, to accompany the child to place his planets in signs and houses… 😉
It’s just a question of transferring planets, signs, in a “blank” sky chart, it’s early at this stage to really talk about interpretations, for that I don’t give any text not to “freeze” some feelings.

Importance of the astrology of children
“The astrology of children” represents in my opinion a very important axis of evolution of the astrological field, and beyond of the global evolution of the society.
It’s also likely to be for me an axis of long-term work and deepening in the years to come.

When introducing astrology and his birth chart to a child, it’s a balance to be found !
It’s not a question of being too serious, too responsabilizing or blaming, but if we can say, especially to gain some time by setting important milestones.
There is no need to force him to understand anything !
You just have to bring him the tools, so that he/she has a personal appropriation of these, after it’s a “seed that is planted”, free to the child to make it germinate or not, if this should be his destiny or not, but at least he/she will have had in his hands enough to achieve a first appropriation of his birth chart, to awaken perhaps some questions or understandings early in his life, it doesn’t take more than that, it’s already huge…
The child cannot have the hindsight of the adult, nor all his analytical capacities, nor his maturity, but one can already plant in him certain seeds in advance, which will be able to germinate later more easily and quickly, and which will also be able to avoid him later on, some misguidance, some errors, some wasting of time.
The important point being that the young child does not have in principle a “learned helplessness”, he/she is not multi-conditioned by social prejudices and he/she has an approach both simpler and “pure”, without filter, on what he/she analyzes, and this can obviously be used as a potential powerful evolutionary lever, because the field of possibilities is well open for him, he/she has a perspective of long life time, which will be able to maximize his evolution…
Children’s tales and mythology serve no other purpose than to make humans aware of certain inherited social conditioning, and astrology is part of this, it can be exploited as a psychological tool for the child.
This notebook is initially used “to give him the desire to learn”, to deepen his birth chart, to bring him the very basic knowledge which will be able to awaken him towards certain understandings… But therefore this will not exempt “the time” to have to do its work, nor all the experience of the cycles obviously !
It’s really an important wisdom to keep in mind.
I really don’t understand why astrology is not used more for the child’s education and orientation, even if it’s a “sharp skill” (for “not forcing” precisely as I say in my article “Parents, study your child’s chart“), there is a lot of progress to be made, both at the individual and collective level !
