Evolution of the Being

Since the dawn of time, man has been asking himself metaphysical questions about his origin and the purpose of his life… and astrology has offered him an unexpected connection between the stars, his psychology and his psyche.
Thanks to its ever-present Synchronicity, astrology can help him to identify and understand the causal links related to his existence and help him to evolve accordingly.
There are a multitude of paths that can lead the human being on his evolutionary journey towards individual and personal fulfillment, (his Ikigaï), and subsequently towards transcendence.
But while the roads are many, there however exist “passage points” which are similar from one road to another because they have to do with the deep structure of human psychology.
These passage points are archetypes of human consciousness, they were not invented by man, they are pre-existent in the basic structure of reality, inherent in creation itself, and in the universal consciousness, we are merely discovering them as our consciousness evolves (read Understanding the archetypical nature of the zodiac signs).
Astrologer Dane Rudhyar spoke about the quest for meaning offered by astrology :
The important thing is to be able to determine how each event fits into the structure of your existence.
Those who view life from an existential point of view, seeing everything as absurd, destroy man’s health and vitality.
What man needs, more than anything else in order to exist, is a sense of meaning.
Meaning goes through a number of phases, which are interrelated and which become the frame of reference for all life events.
Showing man the meaning of his life is the most important endeavour that astrology can undertake.
Astrology is significant because it demonstrates that life itself is subject to intelligent interpretation…
The cycle of a Being
Individuality is the center from which everything develops.
It is the experience of the individual which, by building itself through contrasting dualities (read inter alia Duality “Security / Freedom”), is going to play a central role in the beginnings of the blossoming of one’s personality.
The individual must first learn what he or she is not in order to understand what his or her own field of action is…
Thus a child who burns his fingers will understand the limits of his body and the influence that his environment can have on said body !
Human development is based on both innate and acquired assets, be they intellectual or material, the individual expresses his latent potential. In reality his/her assets, both social and environmental, are largely based on his/her innate abilities (genetic and psychological). The path to development over successive phases therefore relies on the innate abilities to stimulate curiosity towards getting new acquired abilities and, to share and communicate these abilities with one’s environment.
At this stage of evolution, the individual must give meaning to his life, the meaning he gives to his existence is a cornerstone of his development and fulfilment.
He needs to value his experiences, in other words, to appreciate the value of his past, and to find relevance to his present.
Intelligence, intuition, sensitivity, morality, honor, or religion, all enable him alternately to structure his priorities, build of his conscience, discern good from evil, move in society and to situate himself in the verticality relative to Heaven… Is this what will perhaps lead Man on the road to Love and Wisdom ?
Alone in the face of his free will, Man constantly has to make choices, he must decide, act accordingly, and then fully bear the burden of responsibility for his actions.
It is through his choices that he will affirm his Individuation in the social sphere, and exteriorize his personality in the eyes of all, rendering him unique in the midst of the undifferentiated crowd.
This awareness – sometimes in the aftermath of a Depression – leads to a profound transformation, an understanding of one’s fundamental reality of being emerges.
But the abstract concept of absolute freedom having no meaning in human life, man’s challenge will be to endow his choices with a degree of independence from his innate inclinations and a sacred creative and original aspiration, so that he can break free from his predestination and truly impose himself on the world as a “Being”.
Only a few reach this point, being recognized by their peers in the social sphere, and still continuing on their way on the path of transcendence.
At this major turning point of evolution, the simple individual become Man turns towards the interior of himself and realizes in the depths of his Being that the path to transcendence passes through the recognition of absolute unity. The Being must then unlearn everything that has forged the basis of his individuality until now, that is to say, discrimination by opposites, the illusion of dualities, the whole construction of his dear ego…
It is then that he understands, that he feels deep inside, that whatever is here is found elsewhere and whatever is not here is nowhere else, it is all just successive transitions.
In reality, he doesn’t really exist, it’s all vacuous…
