Interpretation: Powerful emotions emerge and tend to overwhelm things, but there is also a risk of sudden confusion, illusions, and disillusionment.
The search for satisfaction and fulfillment is dominant and excessive, and it may therefore exert too much control over the choices we make.
The feeling of elation that is aroused is thus double-edged, as it is a powerful driving force for action but it may also be fickle and quickly turn into regret.
Astrological points to pay attention to: Deep down within these energies we find a powerful driving force that awakens things, and this may be not only Mars, but also, and more likely, transpersonal forces such as those of Uranus, which in a direct way have this ability to “give rise” to things and activate a highly creative, subtle, and electric effervescence (a stroke of genius).
The planet Neptune may also inspire certain idealizations with very strong emotional forces, which give us the desire to realize these lofty ideals.
This may also even be related to various different planets in their positions of exaltation (see Rulerships) in your birth chart or during transits, as this would awaken harmonious planetary energies that could be realized.
Jupiter may of course have a “magnifying effect” as it passes by, bringing excessive, inflationary, and of course optimistic energies to the table, though these energies may also have a tendency to distort reality (exaggerating strengths and softening weaknesses).
Remarks: This hexagram does not really say anything about the ultimate end of what is aroused (whether it be success or failure). It simply points out the risk of being overwhelmed by emotions, which you will have to try to channel as best you can.
