This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on March 21, 2023, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.
This study must be nuanced by bringing it closer to your birth chart, and to your Transits and Progressions for Forecasts.
Think, to help you, to read my interpretation article of the New moon and Full moon in houses.
Main signs impacted during the lunation:
Especially all first decans, of all modes (Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable), as well as the Fire forces.
Several dynamics of change to manage
This 2023 Spring Equinox New Moon, right on the vernal point, the “0 degree” of Aries, is very energetic and logically tends to enhance enormously the transit of Jupiter in this same sign obviously!
It can represent a kind of triggering factor of this one, thus of all its Martian dynamics, of its Fire, which forms an important synergy to be analyzed astrologically because it can help to “impulse something”, according to the place where this transit is developing its forces in your birth chart obviously.
Many elemental changes are at work during this period, as we have seen, whether it is Saturn which has been rising the beginning of Pisces, or Pluto which will start to rise in Aquarius at the beginning of this lunation (March 23, 2023), but also in a faster transit, the planet Mars, which after many months spent in retrograde motion in Gemini, will finally pass into Cancer, its sign of fall…
This type of period, where in a short period of time, multiple elemental changes occur, must inevitably attract our attention, because this necessarily translates into a form of “energetic instability” in the present, and with the corresponding risks of “reversals”.
All of this really contributes to this lunation of the moment being quite “electric”, and especially requiring or imposing long-term substantive changes from then on…
This can form a kind of effervescence, or boiling over, at this point, and with quite a few page-turners to deal with.
Don’t forget that when it comes to transits of Saturn and even more so of Pluto, changing signs of the zodiac, we are not talking about “small transits”, but about forces that can have important repercussions in mundane astrology and on a generational level! (so they have a certain depth)
So these are really transits that have to be resituated in this order of magnitude and this perspective: not everything will be played out on this single lunation obviously, on the other hand what is played out on this late winter and early spring of 2023 can be of a nature to form major triggers, and which are quite destabilizing…
There is a little “ambivalence” in the shorter term, because on the one hand, with Mars regaining speed, we are happy to get out of the rut of the last few months! At least it’s moving, we can move forward, change, shift our perspectives, turn pages, change our visions…
But on the other hand, the fundamental changes involved have a very “divisive” nature, with upheavals that are not easy to manage and to accompany, which can even in some respects represent a form of “squaring the circle”: we know that we must press the gas pedal to move things forward, to reform (or even “revolutionize” with Pluto in Aquarius), but at the same time this presupposes profound structural changes that cannot be done in 2-3 superficial make-up strokes!
It is difficult at this stage to perceive the real depth of the changes required, but it is clear that profound structural changes are needed.
On the positive side, this is the kind of period that can really allow us to refocus on our fundamental realization, that of our North Lunar Node for example, to bring us closer to the expression of a vocation, including perhaps “by force of circumstance”, simply because our old life model will no longer work and we will be forced to find a new one.
But as we are still at the beginning of these fundamental changes, there are still a lot of fears, uncertainties that can be mixed, and that are likely to produce questioning: is it feasible? am I going to make it? how long can it take? etc etc
Different questions that will only be able to find answers according to the developments of the different future cycles (the next lunations, Jupiter passing into Taurus, etc).
And it is necessary to be patient and persevering in order to have the wisdom to carry out its achievements in a “long term” perspective (whatever the “lived facts” of the present of this lunation).
The Full Moon of April 06, 2023 will continue to have the same type of background forces as all that I have just mentioned, so no great short-term changes are to be expected, we are still continuing on the same path…
I can only invite you to study more deeply the transits of Saturn in Pisces and Pluto in Aquarius, because they are likely to have an enormous impact on what will be initiated at this time.
The first 3 lunations of 2023 are really very important, very energetic, and they can form a significant impulse, which can even mark the whole year.
