This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on May 19, 2023, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.
This study must be nuanced by bringing it closer to your birth chart, and to your Transits and Progressions for Forecasts.
Think, to help you, to read my interpretation article of the New moon and Full moon in houses.
Main signs impacted during the lunation:
Taurus, Fixed signs (Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius), Earth signs (Virgo, Capricorn), especially 1st decans.
A T-square not to be neglected…
The major astrological event of this new moon remains obviously the entry of Jupiter into Taurus for a whole year, just at the end of the last lunation around May 16, and which I have treated in a dedicated article.
So if you have natal astrological influences on the 1st decans of the Fixed or Earth signs, this New Moon could be more sensitive and energetic for you, it could be useful in helping you drive change, creation, confrontation, and be particularly important and impactful even over the entirety of 2023 (you are really by far the most focused by the period!).
Not necessarily in a “calm” way, because we can see that Jupiter clashes with the increasing square of the Pluto transit in Aquarius, and that the transit of Mars is about to pass over the beginning of Leo, so there is here the constitution of an astrological pattern of T-square, very impulsive and I would even say that it can be quite “violent”, nervous.
This kind of configuration can evoke a lot of notions of “power struggles” for example, it may be that someone or something is trying to impose its domination on you, or that you do not intend to “let it happen”, and this clearly produces sparks at the moment, especially until the Full Moon of June 04, 2023, the whole first half of the lunation is likely to be tense in this sense and can “force you to change”.
Don’t forget that during this period, the transit of Jupiter remains conjoined to the transit of the North Node, and this can form a karmic influence which underlines more directly that what is being played out here goes in a direction of refocusing on your fundamental goals of incarnation!
It will therefore be important, with this kind of phase, to ask yourself more directly about your natal North Node, what it implies more deeply, because this transit of Jupiter may ask you to focus your social integration around this precise point.
Not necessarily from the point of view of realizing the totality of your North Node in the present, but for example by asking yourself: in the choices I have to make in the present, what is the most favourable to make me tend in the long term towards the realization of my natal North Node ?
With this type of configuration, it is therefore more likely that you will have a kind of “choice to make”, a decision to take, to act upon, but that it will also activate more strongly feelings of insecurity and instability in the present moment.
As Pluto is very much involved in the lunation (we also see the planet in trine to the new moon), it may be that it acts compulsively, very instinctively, and that things impose themselves on you, perhaps with the basic feeling of “undergoing” them (of living it as a fatality), but also with a view to the positive, fundamentally, of regaining a better power over oneself behind it, of fighting for it, of better emancipating oneself, of allowing a purge / purification of the situation.
Beware also of anger, which is likely to be more present during this period and where actions and words may quickly overtake deep thoughts.
Try to keep time for reflection, for pragmatic and empirical analysis, Mercury also moving up Taurus during the lunation will be able to help you enormously in this (retain what works, what is useful, practical, pragmatic), as well as Venus moving up the second half of Cancer will be able to help certain natives to potentially take a step back from their affects.
The full Moon of June 04, 2023 could help to find precisely conciliations and mediations, it opens a second half of lunation a priori less tense and conflictual, we see in particular the transit of Venus tilting on the beginning of Leo and taking the place of the Mars transit.
This will not be enough to “erase” any conflicts that may have arisen at the beginning of the cycle, but it may confirm, for example, a change of strategy, the fact of changing one’s mind about the situation, clarifying one’s expectations and planning new ways of achieving them!
