To bounce back on current events and analyze the current sky, I had said in my post on the new moon on July 06, 2024 that mid-July would have more violent energies, in connection with the close conjunction forming between Mars and Uranus obviously, and we saw a fine example of this with the failed assassination attempt on Donald Trump! (in Butler, Pennsylvania at 18h11 local time)
We can already see that Trump is very Uranian in his birth chart with his triple conjunction Sun / North Node / Uranus in Gemini, so it’s logical that he should also be more sensitive to Uranian influences in their various developments in the present…
Here we see a fine example in his transit sky, superimposed on his birth chart, that this famous Mars/Uranus conjunction at the end of Taurus is still very strong in his present!
Pile angular to his MC, which represents his destiny, and square to his birth Leo Mars angular to his Ascendant, this remains a very violent, nervous, tense, combative configuration, and clearly forms the most sensitive signature of the day, a triggering factor…
In other words, never overlook the power of rapid transits in triggering background transits, especially in relation to Mars transits, which are very much “the ignition” (we saw this also with the Capricorn stellium of 2020, when the Martian transit signalled the start of the worldwide COVID pandemic, and the decisions to impose generalized confinements).
The rest of the sky isn’t obvious for Trump either, with Saturn’s transit in the apex of his lunar nodes and natal full Moon in the background, which is likely to produce “seriousness” and responsibility, to say the least.
We can also see the transit of the Sun arriving in conjunction with his birth Saturn, confirming the Saturnian influences of the period in the shorter term.
Note that there are no Secondary Progressions to link very directly and explicitly to this event in his present life, but this may be more the case in the following months and years, when certain points in the progressed sky will come into play in terms of integrating what he has experienced here by coming so close to death (remember that progressions have a certain latency and describe above all inner experience)…
He was very lucky indeed! The angels were watching over him at the time, you could say!
Astrologically, we could also mention Jupiter, also in 10th house and approaching his Gemini stellium, which may have played a significant “protective” role…
In any case, that’s the most obvious thing I can think of.
