I Ching Hexagram 35: Progress, astrological interpretation

I-Ching Category

Interpretation: There are notions of evolution and improvement here, such that things move forward on course. The right path has been chosen, and we need to persevere.
We obtain understanding, knowledge, or an idea that allows us to come to a new conclusion about the situation, change our view of things, and avoid paralyzing lines of thought.
We may manage to find a good balance or the right way of arbitrating, mediating, negotiating, or organizing things, such that no one feels that they have been wronged and everyone can find their niche.
Symbolically, this may also indicate the “future” of this situation, asking us to look to the weeks, months, or years to come, so as to try to determine and anticipate the nature of the developments that are implemented in the present.
There is a need here to say goodbye for good to certain parts of the past, without turning back or having regrets or remorse.

Astrological points to pay attention to: there may be a significant change in the phase of a cycle during this period of time. For example, an incapacitating Square may come undone, we may have Progressions that create new opportunities for us (a new Moon where our Sun was at birth, etc.), or a Trine may harmonize with certain energies of our birth chart in a favorable, productive way; even a quick transit that is “well-positioned” could help with this dynamic in the short term (this could be a positioning that highlights the 1st house, or something else depending on the situation involved in the question for this reading).
In some cases, we also encounter Jupiter’s and Mars’s energies, which of course help with “takeoffs” and forces of action and change.
The mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces, as well as their corresponding Houses) may in fact also help with the process of adapting to a new situation.
This idealized projection of the future also very much reflects Uranus’s and Aquarius’s forces.

Remarks: This hexagram may symbolically set the bar high in terms of ideals and change, as there are significant demands for achievements.
