This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun/Moon conjunction on April 30, 2022. It gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.

Main signs impacted during the lunation:
Pisces and Mutable signs in 3rd decans, Taurus and Fixed signs in 2nd decans, Aries and Cardinal signs, as well as fire signs such as Leo and Sagittarius in 1st decans… In other words, the forces of this period have a wide spectrum and can affect many people!
“Blossoming” of the Neptunian energies
The period is still very much about Water! Between the Neptunian and Jovian Pisces energies which are always underlined by the fast transits of Venus and Mars at the beginning of the lunation, as well as the Taurus energies, ruled by exaltation by the Moon, then the Black Moon having approached the beginning of Cancer, or the Scorpio south node, we really see that a big part of the Sky has to do with the water force in one way or another…
It’s also a new moon solar eclipse! Since it occurs near the north node and the transit of Uranus, it has a very particular energetic charge. In general, these kind of lunations are supposed to allow important karmic refocusing on our fundamental goals of incarnation, and they can mark in that way several months beyond (these are sort of like medium-term intersections).
We can see that the elemental energy of Earth has a particular karmic charge on the period, whether it’s with the north node and this Taurus stellium, but also the planet Saturn in Aquarius which is placed at the apex of the lunar nodes, this can be interpreted as if there was a sort of “reality check” to deal with on the period, a step to take in terms of concretization on the medium term…
In reality, it’s a global configuration that tends to lean more strongly on a duality “matter/spirit”“, between the ideals, the aspirations, the intuitions, the fantasies even (that have been “awakened”), but on the other hand the needs to find concretizations, effective materializations in reality.
The lunations of March and early April were very powerful in terms of increasing emotional receptivity and this was reflected in more than one way in daily life, in the initiated projects, the experienced encounters, etc. But then, what should we do with that in the longer term? (even over the next 12 years, which correspond to the rise of Jupiter in the entire zodiac)
This is obviously not over yet, but a more concrete and pragmatic vision must be put in place now, something that in a way asks to “secure” these previous achievements, not to remain only in abstract qualities but to translate them (this could take up a large part of the “reflection” of the moment, since Mercury will go retrograde at the beginning of the lunation).
The important point is precisely the notion of securing, stabilizing, building, which emerges a lot at this period, the lunar forces are not to be neglected in the karmic load of the moment, perhaps because the feeling of insecurity will have prevailed these last months, that the previous lunations will have required risk-taking (Neptune may also have forced certain “dissolutions”, therefore forms of “loss”, detachment, renunciation), and that it will be time from May onwards to reconnect with more realism, if necessary to rebuild, to “give a form” to things.
=> The second ten days of May 2022 will also be the period of the year when Jupiter passes into the 1st decan of Aries, thus into the Martian Fire! It will make a small incursion of several months while also going retrograde, which will be experienced more strongly by all the Fire signs! (Leo, and also Sagittarius)
From then on, clearly the dynamic of action is fully linked to the Neptunian forces that have emerged, we can also see Mars in conjunction with Neptune, these forces can help to initiate, to undertake: it’s the principle of volition that must translate the solar will, the fire signs will be very sensitive to it…
The Full Moon of May 16, 2022 will again be superimposed on the lunar nodes and will thus form a lunar eclipse.
It will therefore be useful in terms of extroversion, of a better search for externalization, of no longer “keeping to ourselves” inside, but rather of projecting forces outside, of “creating the forms” that will be necessary, and there may be a kind of “acceleration” of this at the end of the lunation because the Fire really gains in power at the end of May.
This can form a challenge of externalization/extroversion that will last for several months, which is to be put in perspective of a mid-term period (I will come back to this concerning the transit of the Black Moon in Cancer), but in any case it’s likely that few people will not be affected in one way or another by the energies of this lunation…
