This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on August 16, 2023, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.

The point that still marks a lot the short/medium term period, is the retrograde motion of Venus in Leo, which is therefore even more particularly underlined in the present, since this new moon is implanted in the 3rd decan of Leo, in conjunction with this retrograde Venus!
Venus retrograde finds here points it has already transited once since mid-June 2023, entering then its retrograde loop, so it may have to come back to them precisely in the present, on points that will have been raised previously.
This may have something hurtful or cutting, and it may well be that the Venusian energies of the moment are precisely seeking to form an emancipation from this, we see that this new moon is located next to the Black moon and at the square of the transit of Uranus in Taurus, so the struggle against authority, patterns of domination, may remain important.
This always requires a stronger monitoring of one’s relational and emotional field, whether it be with new encounters, or already existing relationships, much of the configuration of the moment remains focused on these elements.
The Uranian energies remain particularly valued and sensitive also on the period, we see that the transit of Jupiter in Taurus is close to the conjunction to Uranus in this same sign, which can form a not negligible “magnifying effect” on these forces!
If, for example, one has the impression of having to endure a pattern or a relationship, an authority, a dominator, something or someone who may have power over us, exercise it or abuse it, so these Uranian forces may give us a desire to revolt, to rebel, to no longer accept the same things as before.
This does not seem to be done “nicely” here, but really in a “contrarian” way, i.e. not being afraid to assert one’s own will first, and to confront the other if necessary, if the latter seeks to reproduce and perpetuate its mastery.
Try to make the most of the first half of the lunation to lay down your bases and your limits as clearly as possible.
Note that on August 23, 2023, Mercury will also pass retrograde within its domicile of Virgo, it will insist on the 2nd decan, and may increase precisely a notion of “important reflection” on the period, something requiring a deepening, an introspection.
At the same time, on August 27, 2023, Mars goes into detriment in Libra as well, so that’s 3 personal planets that tend to be afflicted in one way or another, and that don’t really facilitate the notions of externalization.
The Full Moon on August 31, 2023 will be a “super moon”, the moon will be particularly close to the earth, so people who are more sensitive to these emotional and receptive forces are likely to feel them more strongly.
Moreover the full moon is in the Virgo / Pisces axis, so it also underlines the transit of Saturn on the beginning of this sign but which can also enormously bring him layers of emotional introversion, self-control.
It is not necessarily obvious with this type of sky to “say what is felt”, either it will push more to the withdrawal on oneself, or it risks to give more difficulty to put words on things.
Be careful because in the second half of the lunation, you might be more tempted to “make compromises”, to go back on an argument for example and to restart on old patterns, but this will not be the best possible calculation according to what the Venus retrograde will have raised.
On September 04, 2023, Venus will resume direct motion progressively and will have about until the beginning of October to get out of its retrograde loop definitively, so it will press one last time on the same points to make us relive the elements raised since June, to at best try to “finalize” them more definitively, and even if at least part of it might also bounce back again in the first quarter of 2024…
