This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on August 19, 2020, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac. Mars attacks !
All the 3rd decans are particularly sought after over this period, if you have important energies of your birth chart in a 3rd decan, whatever they may be, they may carry a particular resonance (read my article The 30 degrees rule, interpretation tip).
The Fire carries an increasingly important influence, and after the hesitations linked to the Air / Water duality of the previous months (which could have left us quite a bit “in the dark”), we happen to find ourselves in a more dynamic, active, effective symbolism here, but also probably more “violent” and destructive, generating “confrontation”.
As already evoked at the previous new moon of July, what we need to particularly understand is that the retrogradation of Mars is progressively settling down on the 3rd decan of Aries, in conjunction with the transit of the Black moon, at the same time, and at the franc square of the stellium playing out within the Capricorn, this pattern remains intrinsically very “tense” and violent, and can directly bring us back to events that occurred especially in the month of March, when the planet Mars acted as the triggering factor, and which therefore corresponded to this “pandemic explosion” of the coronavirus and this widespread lock-down as we have seen…
What is of importance here is to understand the “cyclical” nature of astrological cycles, their birth (Conjunction) and evolution (read my article on Aspects), what we have here is an increasing square which is an aspect that has a direct symbolism of “breaking under tension” in the whole cycle.
Schematically, things born at the initial conjunction would find a “breaking point” here, which represents an important step to climb, and this requires knowing how to break certain determinisms, even by overturning the table if necessary !
So it would be unwise to underestimate the significant risk of social, political and economic crisis that could occur at this time, this Mars really evokes certain demands for accountability, an aspect that carries both claim or revenge, and clearly the fact that the planet lays emphasis on all these points in the longer term with its retrograde motion for a large part of the end of the year, thus insisting on all the work that will necessarily bring up things from this crisis that began in March 2020.
The social and economic aspect seems to be most directly impacted by these planetary energies, but now that we know the pandemic risk we are facing, and that we know it’s possible for pandemics to “bounce back”, recurring later within the year they appear, it may also be a good time to prepare for this, just in case ! (and for a new lock-down too, perhaps)
So consider grocery shopping, reserve medication, getting masks, hand sanitizers, and all the other things you might have missed during the first wave, the more people get geared up for this eventuality, the better…
The phenomenon of the upcoming retrogradation therefore necessarily implies a “latency that needs to be taken into account”, and even if on this new moon the planet Mars is not yet directly retrograde but still in a stationary phase before its retrogradation, it’s gradually entering its loop, and may therefore put some things to a “standstill”, create delays, and setbacks, do well to take a look at my article on “How to live the retrogradation of Mars on a daily basis” you may get a few more clues from there.
The full moon of September 2, 2020 underlines more directly the Uranian and Neptunian energies. These remain daunting back-to-school energies and can very much indicate a form of “values crisis”.
Beware of September 6, when the moon comes into contact with Mars and the Black moon, which could form an additional trigger factor in this notion of a values crisis, whether at the interpersonal level (including emotionally with Venus in square) or at a more collective level (politically), the need for “confrontation” will be very considerable, but it may also activate frustrations, still the same way with the obstacles of Mars being likely to result in a confusion within the action, or an impossibility of action, or frustration, they will be thwarted, but this may clearly plumb their natural momentum for a while…
