This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on July 20, 2020, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.
This study must be nuanced by bringing it closer to your birth chart, and to your Transits and Progressions for Forecasts.

February and March are back in the spotlight
Like the previous one, this lunation happens to highlight the archetype of Cancer, this time within the 3rd decan, by directly facing the stellium Capricorn (transits of Pluto, Saturn, Jupiter), it may represent a form of “highlighting” with respect to what the latter may have raised, especially in the previous month of March, while the planet Mars played the role of a triggering factor around these very inflationary forces…
Here we can actually see that the planet Mars is moving up its Aries home, it will start to slow down strongly, reaching its stationary phase before it retrograde in September, but it’s important to understand that it will already enter its retrograde motion loop as early July 25 : in other words, from July 25 for all the points that this planet will have raised, it will have a second passing on them in the weeks and months to come, thanks to its retrograde transit.
In the mean term, this planet still forms square to Mercury as evoked at the previous lunation, but even if Mercury has resumed its direct motion, the internal and emotional nervousness remains rather important, and we can’t really be sure that the Cancer archetype underlined by the Mercurian forces at this moment of the beginning of the lunation is the simplest in terms of exteriorization of these forces, there is an ever increasing risk of confrontation between what will be felt, and maybe the measures and actions that will have to be initiated, and which may make people grind their teeth ! (especially for the 2nd and 3rd decans of the Cardinal signs which will be the most impacted by these forces)
All the more so as we can also see Venus rising for the last time in Neptune’s square and coming out of its retrograde loop around the beginning of August, an aspect which does not favour emotional stability at the beginning of the lunation.
From July 25 to August 09, an interesting phenomenon is that Mars gradually joins the transit of the Black moon (see my article on this particular transit), all this mainly operating in square of Jupiter, this very clearly confirms that the elements that could have been raised successively on previous February / March will be put back on the table during this period (where Jupiter formed its first transit, let’s recall that the planet is now retrograde and therefore reaches these points for the second time).
Mars can therefore come to “set the barrel on fire”, for example by seeking responsibility, rather than causes, it could be a question of “accusing the guilty”, of siding with situations (make a decision), we must not forget that the Black moon is a “sharp” karmic factor, it brings a form of inescapable fatality, which comes to force “pay back” of the past, and here, clearly in the most bellicose sign of the zodiac, the dose of impulsivity and impetuosity can be important, and more easily lead to conflict, to confrontation.
Be careful not to fall back on bad scapegoats which would only be lightning rods of deeper causes, the risk is important here to lack of calm thinking and assessment, an urge for impulsive action without really taking the time for more analysis, or simply by looking for simplicity and the easy way out (and “well-meaning” people can easily yell for the scapegoats to be shot).
This lunation is thus the beginning of a really important turning point of the year, and it necessarily prefigures the important retrograde motion of Mars which is taking place and forms a major step of 2020…
Note that the full moon of August 3, 2020 can clearly represent an “energy peak” over this sensitive period, it has a load of triggering factor for all that we earlier mentioned, which is really particularly powerful ! It’s probably at this point that the karmic refocusing can be done in the most “acute” way, we also see not only Venus conjoined right at the north node, but also the axis of this full Moon occurring with Uranus at the apex in franc square (!), it remains a busy and violent sky…
We would most probably find excesses under this sky, and perhaps a large part of the Mars retrograde will be in charge of trying to “fix” what happened during this impulsive period and from mid-September onwards.
