This new moon takes place in the 3rd decan of Cancer, where it constitutes a Grand Cross, both with Pluto retrograde in opposition which is now finalizing its journey in Capricorn, as well as the axis of the lunar nodes which has recently begun its ascent of the signs Libra / Aries (since the end of the last lunation), there is also the trine to Neptune Pisces…

All this contributes to form an important pressure on all the 3rd decans of the Cardinal signs!

There is a significant karmic charge with this type of configuration, it may be that the new moon brings to light certain elements of the past that need to be finalized, and even here with Pluto we could rather say “purged / purified”.

It may also require a significant amount of confrontation, especially with an “authority person”, someone who may have some form of power over you, who may exercise a certain amount of domination (we also see the Mars/Saturn opposition which may confirm this), but the background framework also emphasizes the need for emancipation from this to be carried out during the summer (the need to elevate oneself, to spiritualize the ordeals).

The other major point of this beginning of lunation is also that the transit of Venus is about to pass retrograde, on the 3rd decan of Leo, the planet has had time to settle progressively in its retrograde loop since the end of June in stationary phase (I will treat this Venusian transit in a dedicated article).

The planet is going to insist a lot on the increasing square of Uranus in Taurus, so clearly the relational and emotional forces remain quite “electric” over the period, and this may lead to not accepting the same social patterns as before!

It is a configuration that can invite you to question your “relationship with others”, whatever you are going through, for example by asking yourself: why do I always reproduce the same patterns? why do I come across people like this? Why do I have to put up with such and such an element? etc.
