Be careful not to confuse the natal Moon in your birth chart with the Moon’s transits through Signs and Houses, which refer to the monthly journey of the luminary, as I describe them in the various lunation analyses and in the premium articles.

Moon transits govern our moods, emotional and instinctive states; they act as a daily focal point and directly set the rhythm of our months, within the deeper cycles of the social and transpersonal planets.
The Moon is very directly correlated with the female menstrual cycle, fertility as well as motherhood, and in a sense represents the small hand on the clock of time.
It can be important to cross-reference these lunar transits with Venus transits, the other planet associated with Anima.

As it moves forward through the Zodiac, the Moon brings into focus the energetic archetype of the sign, or the sector symbolized by the house it is passing through.
This is an extremely fast transit, the fastest of all planetary motions in the solar system, so it truly punctuates even the most subtle variations of our daily life.
