Be careful not to confuse your natal Neptune in your birth chart (see in particular here Neptune in signs and houses in the birth chart) with the Transits of Neptune through the signs and houses referring to the planet’s yearly movement as I may describe it in the different lunations and in the premium articles.

Neptune moves very slowly through the entirety of the Zodiac, as the planet takes nearly 165 years to complete its cycle, spending around 14 years per sign, which implies that one cannot experience a full revolution within a typical human lifetime…
This planet carries a highly important transpersonal receptive energy !
It acts as a dissolving factor of individuality, opening us to the universal and the Absolute.
It represents an alchemical process of Solutio and can produce very significant metaphysical insights in its effects.

This Neptunian transit must therefore be understood within a long-term depth, yet it can mark major life experiences.
In terms of orb of influence, one should allow approximately 3 years for the aspects the planet may form during its slow passage…

As Neptune takes approximately 14 years to pass through one zodiac sign (30°), this will also apply to equal house systems.
However, for temporal house systems (such as Placidus), since the houses are often unequal, the duration of the transit may vary accordingly within them.
