This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on December 14, 2020, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac. Because of its proximity to the southern node in Sagittarius, this new moon indicates a solar eclipse, which is always more energetic at the astrological level, this underlines a more massive and sensitive influence of the lunation (karmic, emotional, receptive), and it may well result in one of the most important lunations of the year !
Moreover here it tends to work in square to Neptune in Pisces, although this is not the worst quadrature since these signs share the same traditional rulerships, but there can be a kind of phase of integration with respect to the confusion and doubts that could have emerged even since september.
It can be a test of faith, a questioning of deep ideals, of priorities, the need to confront one’s real aspirations and feelings, to materialize them in a different way, to express them in terms of social integration.
And as it’s now about 1 month that Mars has resumed its direct motion (regaining speed), the planet is at the trine of this new Moon, it can give an important energy of action in this direction, to make things change !
The social and very “ebullient” planets, Jupiter and Saturn, also regained speed, getting ready to change sign to pass under Uranus rulership in Aquarius in an imminent manner, even before the full Moon, and this necessarily contains the seed of some hopes for change, of turning point, and there is a form of excitement (see the articles on these 2 transits already published).
This new moon marks very much the rise of the “uranian wave” that I have already been able to detail even in the article on the transit of the Black Moon in Taurus, here tightly conjoined to Uranus.
This can materialize at the same time a mixture of audacity, force of reform, surprise and explosiveness as well, for example with something sudden and unexpected that can reveal itself, produce an “awakening”, an awareness, both personal and collective…
Still in the duality between “security and freedom”, the dilemma is that these are opposing paths, following one inevitably leads to the opposite from the other, but here the forces of emancipation are massive, even intransigent, imposing to taking risks to get out of one’s comfort zone, thus at least putting security considerations aside a little, and probably for several months.
Earth energies will probably be the least comfortable with these compromises, but the 1st decans of Taurus, Virgo and Capricorn signs will not necessarily have the choice ! That said, they will probably get an interesting reward for their investments, and their risks, on the medium term…
The full Moon of December 30, 2020 marks the beginning of the second half of the lunation, about the first half of January, where the forces of instability are likely to be at their maximum, Mars arriving gradually but quickly in contact with Uranus and the Black Moon. During this period, there is an explosive and revealing charge that is particularly significant, as Mars can play the role of an important crisis triggering factor !
In addition happening with the transits of the social planets Jupiter and Saturn in square, it’s the beginning of the year 2021 which can be really very tense within the collective, and the new Moon of January happening around Pluto in Capricorn, it confirms a rather violent and even destructive sky in the middle of this month, forcing transformation and abandonment of old patterns…
The 1st decans of the Fixed signs, Taurus, Aquarius, Leo and Scorpio, must pay particular attention to the period, as they are much more directly impacted by these tensions (all the decans of Aquarius will be particularly energized by the activation of these uranian forces).
It’s likely that what happens in January 2021 will have an impact for much of the year 2021…
