This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on April 08, 2024, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.
This study must be nuanced by bringing it closer to your birth chart, and to your Transits and Progressions for Forecasts.

The whole of the Cardinal cross, Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricorn, and the beginning of the 3rd decan of the Fixed signs, Taurus, Scorpio, Leo and Aquarius.
Important steps in 2024
This is a really particularly energetic New Moon for 2024, and for a number of reasons that we’re going to look at, it’s likely to mark a major boost even for the whole year!
First of all, as the new moon takes place in the immediate neighbourhood of the North Node, it forms a solar eclipse, which is always a much more sensitive new moon, able to easily mark/impel 6 months of the year in its effects.
There’s a karmic charge to this that we shouldn’t overlook, and it could mean that what’s at stake here can be very interesting for us in terms of refocusing on our fundamental karmic fulfilment and making choices that will bring us closer to it. This is why it’s so important at this time of year, for example, to look closely at your own birth North Node…
How do we understand this one? What place have we given it up to now? And what can we do from now on to get closer to it or to understand it better?
This will depend a lot on the structure of each person’s birth chart, the way they experience their own chart, the psychic and spiritual maturity they have reached, etc etc.
The other major point about this lunation is that it takes place in the midst of the close formation of the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction in Taurus (which remains an important step in the whole Uranian transit in Taurus, which is now gradually coming to its end).
Remember that the previous conjunction took place around 14 years ago in June 2010 at the very beginning of Aries, so see if that triggered anything in your life (even if it had a less energetic and karmic charge than this year, 2024).
We’ve seen in previous lunations that this is an aspect which has taken place between slow moving planets, which logically has a sensitive depth in the present, and that even since the summer of 2023, it has been able to settle in and create a very important resonance around Uranian energies, with Jupiter acting very much as a magnifying, exacerbating factor.
Once again, this can be translated very differently depending on the implications of each person’s birth Uranian forces, on which you need to focus your understanding in the present!
See what I have to say here about the different Uranus in the birth chart, because this period will require you to fully realise your own Uranus.
On a personal level, for example, I have Uranus conjunct Sun in the 12th house, Sun being ruler of the 8th house and representing the heart, and the Uranian energies representing electricity, and it so happens that I developed an increase in attacks of atrial fibrillation in August 2023, when the Jovian forces began to move closer together.
So I’m going to have to be very vigilant and cautious on these points at this time of year.
This can give you an idea of the type of reasoning you need to adopt, by understanding what Uranus implies in your birth chart, analysing what has emerged over the summer and seeing if there are any correlations.
With the Uranian energies, we’re very much concerned with matters of emancipation and liberation, and the Martian forces in Aries, which are very much in evidence during this period, confirm our notions of the struggle to assert oneself, to undertake, to create, and not to be afraid to confront the authorities if necessary.
These are really very electric, iconoclastic energies, which are not afraid to turn the table upside down in every possible way, whether it’s in relationships, emotions, work, health, etc etc.
It’s quite possible, moreover, that health issues are very much in focus during this period (and therefore the notions of ‘crises’ to which Uranus is by nature very attached), as we can see that the New Moon is forming in exact conjunction with the asteroid Chiron, which represents both our wound and the path to transcendence that is attached to it.
You’ll need to keep a close eye on the first half of the lunation, which will be the most sensitive in all these points, although the sky as a whole will not be very tense.
In the previous lunation, I talked about knowing how to accept the changes that were coming, and now we’re faced with just that, in all their surprising, destabilising and insecure aspects.
There’s this mixture of the wind bringing change, which is to be encouraged, supported and not resisted, but the violent energies of the Uranian and Martian period are also likely to offend some sensibilities, especially if you’re already sensitive to this in your own birth chart…
Let’s remember here that Uranus’ very nature is to ‘surprise’, to be where we least expect it, so if I may say so, we should expect this, events that are more compulsive and instinctive, and that escape our mastery and control.
Note that the Jupiter/Uranus conjunction will be exact around 20 April at 21° Taurus, so see if this degree has any particular resonance in your own chart!
The Sabian interpretation of this degree reads: “A white dove flies over a troubled lake”.
It’s a symbol of peace or appeasement towards which we may have to strive, but a lot of it has to do with spiritualising the trials, rising above and sublimating the challenges, the constraints, the external or internal violence, the “troubled lake”, whatever form it may take (this contrast can therefore be a major archetypal mark of the period).
The Full Moon of 24 April 2024 will therefore continue to be particularly marked by this Jupiter/Uranus conjunction. It doesn’t bring much new to the table compared to what I’ve already said, but it may help to bring to light notions of extroversion, externalisation and awareness.
It can have a rather ‘liberating’ effect, in fact, as you reach a kind of paroxysm in this type of period and influence, you might think that the wind can only blow back afterwards, the peak of influence having had its effect…
But in any case, this lunation could be a very important time marker for 2024, so don’t overlook it and prepare accordingly.
