Main signs impacted during the lunation:
The Cardinal signs during the first half of the lunation in a relatively harmonious way, and the first decans of the Fixed signs from the second half of the lunation in a more tense manner.
Lunation: Between Conciliation and Confrontation
This New moon in Virgo is relatively unaspected in relation to the rest of the sky.
It is mainly positioned in the middle of the 2nd decan of the sign, so if you are sensitive to that sector, you are more directly concerned.
That said, several planets are changing signs, bringing shifts in elemental energies that may therefore energize the period accordingly.
For instance, Mercury has just moved into Libra, a sign where this planet is strong in handling social dynamics and can support processes of negotiation, conciliation, and mediation.
All the more so since it forms no major tensions during a good part of the lunation (the first half), until early October.
On the contrary, it is rather harmonious, so it is worth making the most of it if one wishes to seek appeasement or gain a better psychological understanding of a person or situation. It can support empathy and mental liveliness.
Another elemental shift at the beginning of this lunation is Venus moving into detriment in Scorpio, where it begins to retrace its retrograde loop through the 1st decan of the sign.
I will have the opportunity to return to this important retrograde motion in a dedicated article, as it will strongly mark the end of 2026.
At this mid‑September lunation, it is therefore advisable to maintain a more critical eye regarding the different relationships or encounters that may arise.
Be particularly attentive to the various “traditional Plutonian flaws” that may surface, such as power struggles and domination, possessiveness, jealousy, or manipulation.
Especially on an emotional level, one may encounter someone particularly magnetic, with undeniable charm, yet whose relationship could ultimately prove more complex (or even toxic over time).
Venus will turn retrograde around October 3, 2026, but be aware that the risk of confrontations and relational tensions will already begin to increase toward the end of September, particularly around the Full Moon of September 26, 2026.

The second half of the lunation is far more tense, especially for the 1st decans of the Fixed signs.
Mars moves into Leo, and Mercury also enters Scorpio to join retrograde Venus, maximizing the risk of emotional and relational tensions.
A dispute may have to be managed, particularly if you have a strongly Plutonian person in your surroundings, as they may be more inclined to express these tensions through Projection mechanisms.
It is really the end of September and the beginning of October that appear most sensitive in this respect, but once again I will return to this in a dedicated article on the retrograde of Venus.
Another elemental shift during this period is the Black moon moving into Capricorn shortly after the New moon.

Also remember that the lunar nodes have recently shifted elemental energy as well, since they moved at the end of August 2026 into the Leo / Aquarius axis.

So despite an appearance of calm at the New moon, we can see that many things are shifting during this lunation.
There are numerous elemental changes to which we will inevitably be sensitive in one way or another.
Be attentive to the 2nd half of the lunation, which nevertheless carries rather intense energies.
