Listening to and understanding Neptunian aspirations
This new Moon is conjoined with its ruler of the moment, Mercury, in domicile in Gemini, retrograde since the previous full moon, in the medium term, and it operates in the square of Neptune in Pisces.
In addition, there is the proximity of the north node, which indicates that it’s a new moon of solar eclipse, which tends to greatly enhance the energy and karmic load of these forces.
The confrontations of air and water forces can play at full speed, between what will be thought on one side (the logical and rational side), and what will be felt on the other (emotional receptivity, intuitions).
This can have very direct repercussions at the level of exteriorizations, at the social, relational level, perhaps because certain things cannot be said, or make us doubt, require more time, form a “step to climb” to be daring (this will especially concern the end of all the 2nd decans of all the Mutable signs, with thus also Sagittarius and Virgo), it will still be necessary to take its trouble patiently during the first half of the lunation.
This cleavage is really very present on the period, the Gemini archetype needs by nature an “extroversion”, of exchanges, and the Pisces are more “floating”, unstable, unpredictable, Neptune being able to certainly represent “high ideals”, beautiful things, but the planet does not always really say how to reach them, it often misses “the instructions for use”.

But on the other hand, the important point to keep in mind at these levels is that not everything can be achieved only at this period, these forces come here to bring some “awareness” in this early summer of 2021, but the 2 social planets, Jupiter and Saturn, are really “at the end of their race”, and will have to develop their retrograde motions in the following months, catch their breath to regain a dynamic support.
So in my opinion, in this lunation of June 2021, it’s necessary to keep in mind 2 main points :
- 1) to place what is awakened by the Neptunian forces in a longer time perspective, being aware that the effective realizations of what is raised here will only really materialize by the year 2022
- 2) to be conscious that this also takes place in a framework of confrontation with matter and reality, the ideals, the emotions, must in the long run, in the absolute, find translations, mediations, a concretization (not to remain only “abstractions”)
Who says “time” and “matter” also says Saturn in the astrological language, the planet has recently gone retrograde, and is in full confrontation in square with Uranus, over most of the summer, I refer you to my article on its transit in Aquarius, and this quadrature can confirm the tensions on the 2 points I just mentioned.
On the one hand with a certain impatience, who wants to turn the tables (but finds the time long), on the other hand in the face of certain forces of coercion in the medium term, which impose a morality, or a certain sense of duty, responsibilities from which one cannot escape, and which make it a “conditioned” freedom or emancipation in the first instance.
