This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun/Moon conjunction on August 08, 2021. It gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.
This study should be nuanced by connecting it to your birth chart and to your Transits and Progressions using predictive techniques.

The main signs that will be impacted during the lunation:
Many fixed signs such as Leo, Taurus, Aquarius, Scorpio, on the side of the Uranian energies, in the first half of the lunation.
And the mutable signs on the side of the Neptunian forces, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces, Gemini, in the second part of the lunation.
Big recap of the first semester, an adaptation challenge
This new Moon works at the square of the transit of Uranus in Taurus, while this planet is about to go retrograde during the lunation, while Jupiter is back in retrograde motion in Aquarius since the end of July, Saturn being also retrograde in this sign, there is a kind of “a way to climb” at the level of Uranian forces, and in what could have been raised since January/February!
I invite you to read what I have said about the New Moon of January 13, 2021, because the dynamic that was born there may find here a “loss of impetus”, a weariness, or simply some need for adjustment, for withdrawal, in order to succeed in finding a new approach in the following months (at the end of the year 2021).
The quadrature between Uranus and Saturn is not to be neglected in the medium term, I talked about it extensively in my article on the Saturn transit in Aquarius, this one is still active in the background during this summer and tends to be enormously underlined by this new Moon which is placed in clear opposition to Saturn!
There is always this duality between “security and freedom” which can run at full speed and which can even be somehow “highlighted” by this lunation.
For Leo, these are many forces that require “an influence”, an affirmation, to assert one’s creativity and to have one’s personal qualities recognized by others, but this can also operate within a framework of necessary “risk-taking”, of the need to break old patterns, an old stability…
This is to be understood as something really settling in the medium term, especially since the Uranian wave took place last January, but which will still last over the coming months, it is not the kind of turning point that can be put in place quickly and easily.
This New Moon acts a lot in terms of “adjustments”, on everything that may have been awakened during the first semester, it may ask you to come back to it, to refine or rework some elements, to improve them as well (Virgo influences).
There can be a notion of sorting out, between ideals, utopias, and what can be concretized effectively within the reality, the Fixed signs often have a more developed empirical sense!
This concerns especially the first half of the lunation, until the Full Moon of August 22, 2021, after which the configuration tends to switch more to the influences of the Mutable cross, we see in this respect that this Full Moon highlights the very beginning of Pisces, where Jupiter made its incursion a few months earlier!
This symbolically refers to what has been awakened at the level of Neptunian energies since about mid-May and until mid-July, but forcing, if we may say so here, “more realism” on ideals and aspirations, to allow for concretizations (see my article on the new moon of May 2021).
The forces involved in this Mutable cross may really require an “adaptation challenge”, this is a bit always what is expressed in the Mutable quadratures, they represent an “instability” that requires to work on one’s adaptability to changes…
Especially with what is being played out here in the first part of the lunation, within the Fixed Cross, where security forces tend to be mistreated, in the second half of the lunation the key word to focus on may be “adapt”.
There is also the important karmic charge of the Black Moon going up on the beginnings of Gemini and joining the North Node, it is a very important transit of the year and this Full Moon tends to reconstitute a Grand Cross figure with these forces (see my article on the transit of the Black Moon in Gemini, very sensitized therefore towards the end of August/beginning of September, on the next New Moon in September).
