This is a transit with a certain depth and slowness, since it spends approximately 14 years per sign, and can initiate profound, foundational transformations of the personality.
Neptunian energies strongly represent forces of transpersonal emotional openness, of heightened receptivity.
They can rhythmically activate important spiritual qualities, notably, significant forces of “dissolution”, mysticism, and universality.
Heightened Psychic Depth
Upon entering this aquatic, Plutonian sector, this planet finds a truly profound psychic and psychological depth, highly receptive in nature.
It can heighten emotional receptivity, including in contact with unconscious forces, which may bring certain desires, intuitions, or misunderstood transpersonal energies to the surface (there may be an increase in Synchronicities or mediumistic phenomena, prophetic dreams, and so on).
Mystical facets may become more prominent, since here are linked the forces of the alchemical processes of Plutonian Calcinatio and Neptunian Solutio.
The former seeks to purge/purify what no longer serves the personality and destiny; the latter aims to open toward the Absolute and the universal, to move to a higher octave of consciousness.
But take care, consequently, with the mechanisms of “psychic crises” that may also activate more readily.
The difficulty may be that all planets passing through the 8th House can carry a heightened compulsive charge, so one may struggle to consciously master these forces in the present.
They may act more impetuously, or sometimes by surprise, with unexpected revelations.
But it can certainly be beneficial to accompany these forces through various spiritual and esoteric practices, by drawing closer to them; this can help channel them, exteriorize them (and also help avoid, at times, certain phases of Depression that this kind of transit may activate, in terms of melancholy, nostalgia, and so on).
