Seeking conciliation
The last few weeks haven’t been easy, with many major astrological influences of the year 2025, such as the square operating between Jupiter transiting Cancer and Saturn transiting conjunct Neptune at the beginning of Aries, followed by the recent passage of Uranus transiting through Gemini.
These are deep phases that may have been quite stirring at the end of spring and the beginning of summer 2025 (especially if you have first decan influences), and even now, at the end of August, we’re still in a phase of integrating all of that.
That said, it seems to be Uranus transiting Gemini that still carries the strongest dynamic during this time, and we can see that this new moon in Virgo falls exactly square to it, as if to manifest a step to be climbed.
This is particularly significant for the first decans of the Mutable signs, who may be facing a challenge of emancipation, independence, or greater liberation during this period.
This may involve an authority, someone or a situation representing dominance, and there is the necessary energy here to break old patterns, which can strongly support the momentum of the September back-to-school period (and help initiate something new).
This could be a good time to change jobs, start a career shift, or launch a new project. It’s beneficial to follow your intuition and get closer to your core ideals (for example, not sticking to something merely “for the paycheck” if it lacks meaning or recognition).
The sky during this period is actually quite well balanced in terms of elemental distribution — a rare enough occurrence to be noted — with earth, air, water, and fire all present, allowing everyone to find their own resonance in it!
The beginning of the lunation isn’t necessarily calm, as there are quite a few confrontations between the social and relational planets, so the emancipation in question may have to be won through real effort!
These aren’t necessarily extreme or severe tensions and conflicts either, as the sky isn’t dramatically tense, but it does resemble Mars transiting through Libra — knowing how to set clear and fair boundaries about what we’re willing to accept from others, and enforcing them.
So, it remains important to leave the door open for negotiation, for reconciliation, and not try to push the other into a corner, which would be totally counterproductive under the current astrological climate…
Again, this could logically follow what played out this summer in relationships, especially since Mercury is just exiting its retrograde loop — a retrograde motion that marked much of July and August 2025 — which may have tested your patience through delays, setbacks, or conversations that dragged on and now finally seem ready to conclude as we head into September.
“Charm assets” shouldn’t be underestimated either, as the most magnetic planets are also quite enhanced during the first half of this lunation — meaning empathy, charisma, kindness, and good humor will likely be more socially effective than boxing gloves!
It’s especially about knowing how to find the “right words” to convince and express what you feel and think calmly, without anger or pressure — and a good part of the first half of the lunation seems to support exactly that.
The Full Moon on September 7, 2025 will be highly energetic, as it forms a clear and total lunar eclipse — we can see this astrologically through its tight alignment with the lunar nodes axis…
This period really seems to mark a kind of culmination, so perhaps a process (negotiation, preparation, reconciliation) is reaching its conclusion, and needs to find its expression, its manifestation.
It’s possible that we’ve reached the end of possible negotiations or reconciliations, and that a new phase must begin — either concretizing previous commitments or revisiting them, which might also bring some distance or stepping back.
So try to truly maximize anything requiring dynamic energy in the first half of the lunation, because the second half is likely to just carry forward what was already set in motion, without necessarily managing to create or initiate anything new.
The second half of the lunation seems especially favorable for logistics, calculation, management, empirical analysis — keeping only what has proven effective through tangible results and real-life testing.
Be cautious at the very end of the lunation, around September 18–21, when relational and emotional tensions may be more sensitive.
It’s also worth noting that the New Moon on September 21 will also take place in Virgo, right at the end of the sign, further highlighting this archetype for the medium-term period.
