These are broad, general transit energies that must be carefully nuanced according to your own birth chart; see the article Venus in transit. For the interpretation of your Venus in your birth chart, see Venus in signs.
This is a fast-moving transit (around 25 days on average, outside of retrograde periods), accompanying our daily lives in a consistent way.
It influences our emotional life, the things and people to whom we attach value, increases our receptivity, and can even generate a desire for harmony, peace, and conciliation.
Venus is one of the attributes of the Anima; as such, it can indicate a Projection of this inner principle.
It also often provides information about the wife, sister, daughter, or lover, expressing qualities colored by the sign it occupies.
Valuation through devotion
The planet is here in fall and therefore more introverted than usual (see Rulership), yet nonetheless highly devoted…
Attachments need to materialize through small, concrete gestures, by serving the other, stepping back, making oneself useful.
This is not really a position where Venusian energies wear “rose-colored glasses”, but rather one where they require practical, pragmatic expression.
There is less interest in promises or sweet talk, and more in effective, tangible proof.
This transit in this sector can also temporarily exacerbate a form of crisis in personal and socio-professional values, with a strong need to feel valued in one’s work, daily life, and in what one does.
There is also the risk of more easily feeling guilty if one does not feel up to the task, or feels useless or lazy; the inner eye can become sharper and more unforgiving in its judgment.
When Venus transits Virgo or the 6th House, she strongly emphasizes this need for usefulness and even, at the extreme, sacrifice. This passage is more directly likely to activate the victim / savior polarity.
One must also be mindful of a fussy or overly sensitive tendency in relationships, especially if criticism is triggered, in one direction or the other.
A constructive expression of these planetary forces could instead be to seek appeasement, mediation, and negotiation, especially within the professional sphere. If, for example, a new job is beginning, one might try to convince others, build alliances, encourage mutual support, work as part of a team, etc.
Another possible interpretation, through Projection, could be meeting someone important, particularly romantically, within the workplace, or exercising one’s profession alongside a loved one.
This transit may also favor the use of certain artistic or creative qualities in one’s work, especially if other planetary influences support this simultaneously.
It could also help, for example, with undertaking a micro-diet or fast, refocusing more on one’s health, and feeling the desire to purify oneself in the short term.
A Venus retrograde in the 6th House or in Virgo will tend to increase the introversion associated with her fall, making it more difficult to express one’s feelings or to believe in another’s love (this could more easily reactivate an old pattern from a former partner, for example, bringing many doubts about one’s own worth).
There may be a delay or setback in the workplace, perhaps a negotiation that does not unfold as expected, that requires more time, or that faces someone who withdraws their commitment. One should also be cautious that another person does not take credit for one’s merits, for example…
This is not an easy retrograde motion, as it adds additional weight to Venusian forces, which are normally lighter and more hedonistic in nature.
It’s important to be patient and quickly integrate the full duration of the retrograde loop, trying to maintain a schedule, prioritize tasks accordingly, and stick to it firmly.
On the other hand, this can be a very interesting period for deep analytical work, anything requiring precision, meticulousness, and perfectionism to complete a task, for example. The delay may in fact prove beneficial for that.
