This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on November 20, 2025, it gives the broader astrological trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac.

Main signs impacted during the lunation:
All Water signs — Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces — especially the 3rd decans.
Heightened Emotional Receptivity
This new moon tends to create a particularly harmonious sky, especially centered around the elemental Water energy, as it forms a Grand Trine figure with Jupiter in Cancer and retrograde Saturn/Neptune in the 3rd decan of Pisces!
This period can therefore be especially emotionally receptive and may greatly amplify feelings and hypersensitivity.
On the positive side, it can be very beneficial for those with an artistic or spiritual temperament, there may be more intuition and imagination.
This could be a good time to retreat, introspect, engage in psychoanalysis, or to support others on similar paths (in caregiving or healing).
There may also be a greater challenge in expressing interpersonal emotions during this time (in being able to articulate to others what is being felt) but the harmony of the triangle suggests that this can occur naturally and with balance, without conflict or confrontation.
That said, this new moon also aligns with the transit of the Black moon in Scorpio, so one shouldn’t overlook the potentially “sharp-edged” nature of this energy.
For example, this might take the form of a revelation, something that must come out of the shadows by force of circumstance, perhaps precisely to reveal what one has felt during a recent emotional confrontation or wounding.
There is also retrograde Mercury close to the new moon, so this may be a process that takes several days, and which may have originated around November 9, at the end of the previous lunar cycle, when Mercury turned retrograde.
This new moon even forms the apex of a Kite pattern if we consider the opposition to Uranus at the end of Taurus on the other side!
This aspect can reinforce the idea of a revelation or a desire for emancipation, perhaps in the form of a confrontation with an authority.
This may be the peak or release following the “power struggles” I mentioned in the previous lunation !
But here, we see in the sky that the situation is reaching full maturation, the fruit is ready to fall from the tree, and it seems to be happening very naturally and spontaneously.
Moreover, since Sagittarius gains strength during the lunation, we may be able to take a spiritual or philosophical step back from the situation, perhaps even spiritualizing the challenges faced or the decisive choices that had to be made, resolved, or finalized.
A large part of the first half of the lunation is in any case strongly supported and energized by these harmonic forces, so it’s really worth making the most of them and amplifying their benefits.
Note that Mercury goes direct again around November 29 in the early 3rd decan of Scorpio. So if you’ve been sensitive to this retrograde motion since the previous lunation (in terms of delays and setbacks), this date may mark a return to better momentum.
There’s a true phase shift at that time as well, with Venus entering Sagittarius, a change of elemental energy in emotional matters, which may help bring a better relational dynamic (or at least initiate a different one).
The full moon of December 5, 2025 will once again be a “super moon,” just like the last full moon in early November!
This happens when the Moon is physically closest to Earth, so it can appear “larger,” and may make emotionally sensitive individuals even more receptive! (especially women)
This full moon falls on the Sagittarius/Gemini axis, at the apex of the lunar nodes, and opposite Mars in Sagittarius as well, so here we see a strong Fire influence in the sky !
This could be a good time to launch a project or creation despite it typically being the new moon that’s associated with that, this full moon carries strong, dynamic, assertive energies (for stepping into the world, starting a learning or teaching process, possibly gaining recognition).
Watch out for the last quarter of the lunation, which has fast-paced, tenser phases that could be more conflictual, especially in relationships.
That said, the Grand Water Trine won’t fully dissolve until the very end of the lunation — so it will have left a strong imprint on this lunar cycle!
The next new moon will take place in Sagittarius and will quickly be followed by the transit of the Black moon into this sign as well, but I’ll have the chance to talk about that in due time…
