The I Ching needs no introduction: it is an ancient divinatory practice based on the notion of Synchronicity, in which one poses a question before performing a cast, then interprets the resulting hexagram in various ways (there are only 64 hexagrams in total).
The results are often strikingly insightful and can guide us through the different choices we face (Jung studied this discipline extensively when developing his theories).

Casting and Interpreting Astrological Dice
First, take a few minutes to clear your mind, perhaps through meditation, concentration exercises, or breathwork, to attune yourself to the ambient vibrations and focus fully on your query.
Then, formulate your question. Take a sheet of paper or a notebook and write it down formally.
This prevents later “cheating” (i.e., unconsciously reshaping the question to fit the answer) and helps you refine both your inquiry and its wording.

The result will appear in the format “Sign, House, Planet,” revealing the energies, archetypes, and life areas implicated by your question !

For instance, your cast might correspond to Mercury in the 9th House and Mercury in Aries.
You would then synthesize these meanings and relate them back to your original query, in this case, schematically pointing to spirituality and the drive to initiate action.
Truly strive to keep your interpretations simple: work with keywords and free associations rather than over-analyzing each die in isolation.
Maintain a global, holistic view of the cast…
Don’t forget to record the result beneath your question, so you can recall it later and potentially revisit or expand upon your interpretation with time !
The dice can also be cast individually, depending on the question at hand.
For example, if you’re wondering which area of your life will be most impacted at a given moment by a major astrological configuration whose nature you already understand, simply cast the “Houses” die alone. Or if you need a random Sign or planetary archetype for any reason, the dice will provide it.
The real value of these dice emerges whenever divinatory elements are called for, like Tarot or other practices of the same order, anytime you need an element of “chance and synchronicity” within a query.
