The planet Jupiter has already made a first incursion into Aries from the 2nd decade of May until the end of October 2022, which is about 5 and a half months anyway, where it was able to put a huge emphasis especially on the first decan of the sign.
The spring and early summer of 2022 especially, before the planet goes retrograde, may have planted some seeds, especially in terms of personal and social affirmation, impulse, dynamics, creativity; and it may be more interesting, with hindsight, to analyse what happened in our lives at this period, as it will be able to come back from this very end of the year and into early 2023…
First quarter 2023 must be maximized
Indeed, from December 20, 2022, that is to say really in the last days of the year, Jupiter will return to this sign of Aries (almost therefore at the time of the new moon of December 23 in Capricorn), and the planet has here a very important velocity!
After its retrograde motion that marked most of the second half of the year, it is regaining a lot of speed, which will form a very interesting dynamic over several months!
In addition, the second half of 2022 will have been much affected by the retrograde of Mars in Gemini as well, the latter planet being the ruler of the sign of Aries and about to go direct again around January 12, 2023!
I have spoken a lot in my Lunations articles, especially about this complex and rather “bogged down” end of 2022, around quite a few planetary retrogrades motions, and which may have been synonymous with quite a few hindrances, limitations, setbacks…
This said, from the beginning of 2023, everything will contribute to the expression of a lot of “unblocking”!
The whole of the first quarter could give expression to a “sense of acceleration”, and so it is possible that what has been dragging on for months now, may unravel more easily and quickly now, or that, seeds planted in the spring of 2022 may now return to the fore.
This first quarter is really to be maximised as much as possible, for all the other Cardinal signs (Cancer, Libra, Capricorn), as well as the other Fire signs, Leo and Sagittarius, as well as the 2nd decans of the Mutable signs more particularly (on which the direct motion of Mars will insist), so that’s quite a lot of people!
This is a time when both, the transit of Jupiter will not be hindered, but there will also be quite a few elemental and energetic changes in a short time, we see the Black Moon moving into Leo, Saturn moving into Pisces, Pluto reaching the beginning of Aquarius…
I will obviously have the opportunity to come back in my different articles on these different points, but with this type of astrological configuration, it would be quite logical to find this type of effervescence in our lives, in different social changes, in a very “moving” dynamic, even in different quite radical “life shifts”.
The image that comes to me is really as if the second half of 2022 corresponds to the “strong compression of a spring”, and that spring even relaxes quite violently over the first 5 months of the year, especially in the first quarter, but even potentially until the passage of Jupiter into Taurus around May 16, 2023…
This is a time when the Jovian energies are really quite “healthy” and seem important to harness, and where obviously, depending on how they fit into one’s birth chart, they may “bear fruit” in an effective way.
Perhaps the Jupiter / Neptune conjunction in Pisces in April 2022, could have motivated powerful ideals and emotions, but also with sometimes utopian or unrealistic parts, and here at the beginning of 2023, we are in a way leaving this framework, or rather we really want to confront this “to the matter”, to the real, to the action, so we are perhaps by necessity, more practical, pragmatic, concrete, and this comes back a lot on this year 2023 which seems very focused on a logic of material concretization.
