This lunation chart was drawn up at the exact moment of the Sun / Moon conjunction on January 02, 2022, it gives the “general” astral trends for the coming month mainly based on the Aspects and Signs of the zodiac. The beginning of the year is quite “bogged down” by retrogradations of the fast planets, whether it is by the important one of Venus in Capricorn, which is thus highlighted very directly by this new moon, but also by the one of Mercury which will start during the lunation a little before the full moon phase and at the square of Uranus…
We might as well say that these are energies, and therefore a period, which clearly do not favor the capacity for externalization, which are more, on the contrary, in a notion of internalization, introversion, mastery, restraint, withdrawal, analysis, renegotiation.
We can also see that the social planets are in tension, whether it is Jupiter in square of the lunar nodes, or Saturn still insisting in the middle term on the square to Uranus in Taurus (I have already talked about it several times), all this is likely to create a really complicated social phase, both personally and collectively!
This reminds me a bit of the common expression of a “dialogue of the deaf”, with little room for maneuver, because on the one hand there are imperative life reforms that will be imposed no matter what in the long run (due to the transits of Uranus, Neptune), but on the other hand the period of this lunation is clearly not favorable to “hear them”, and on the contrary it can play in terms of contestations, of questioning previous values, in the fact of “battening down the hatches” in front of the arguments of the other.
This could be expressed as much relationally, emotionally, socially and more widely… As I write these lines (autumn 2021), there is a lot of talk, for example, about worries related to energy prices and apparently the beginning of 2022 could still be a sensitive phase for that, and it is not sure that the population will tolerate increases indefinitely without saying anything…
The important point is also that Jupiter will start to move up the first decan of its Pisces domicile, making Neptune’s transit more and more resonant of course (with the conjunction of these 2 giants approaching around April), and coming back to points that the planet raised for the first time from May to July 2021 or so, with the addition of the increasing square of the Black Moon, this may represent a form of trial in connection with the materialization of these forces precisely!
It may be important to analyze what happened over the late spring and early summer of 2021, as it could come back to full effect here, but with greater creative dynamic power.
Mercury will go retrograde around January 14 thus, just before the Full Moon of January 18, 2022, this may mark a particular phase of misunderstanding or communication difficulties, therefore if you can, avoid signing any contract or public intervention during this period, postpone it for several weeks.
The second half of the lunation probably requires a lot of sharpening of the receptive parts, hence in my opinion “listening to the other” will have to prevail, we will have to ask ourselves how we receive these signals and how we interpret them, but nothing says that it will be easy with these energies, far from it, the door is open to a lot of possible confusions…
And we will probably have to wait until February to start being able to untangle things better…
