A question that has come up several times, with different events each time… 😉
It’s simple: yes, indeed, analyzing various current events can be very interesting, but it demands a substantial workload, sometimes requiring rapid turnaround, and I generally lack the time to do everything I need to do…
Perhaps some articles tied to current events will appear in the future, but for now it’s not on the agenda; I prefer to focus on other areas…
Why don’t you analyze the chart of such-and-such celebrity?
My answer is much the same as above: it takes a great deal of time to do things properly, and that’s time I don’t really have at the moment.
I’m focusing on other areas right now. I’m not saying I won’t do it again, more in-depth, for certain personalities, but it’s not on the agenda just yet… 😉
You can already see a feature on Jung or Rudhyar, even if it doesn’t constitute a full Birth Chart study.
During challenging transits to Saturn, when is the effect of the transit felt most strongly ? Is it just before the exact aspect, and during its direct phase ?
Actually, I’ve already addressed this question at length in my article on Orbs.
Regardless of the transit, it can be broken down into three phases: a preparatory phase in which the aspect forms, then the exact aspect, and finally an integration phase that essentially “wraps things up”.
The transit is generally most painful during the preparatory phase, because this phase still involves a great deal of “the unknown”.
We don’t know what’s coming, and that creates tension, a mix that can manifest as anger or dejection.
The exact aspect is somewhat the climax, the apex, where we already have some understanding of the situation and are actively experiencing it (this phase at least has the merit of being more “active” in its intrinsic nature).
Retrograde motions intervene to modulate or accentuate this pattern.
In Saturn’s case, it’s manageable because the more difficult period of the aspect spans roughly a year.
But with Pluto and the transpersonal planets, it easily stretches over several years, so these passages require more structuring and planning…
How do you identify a move to a distant region in forecasting?
When looking for this type of information in forecasting, it’s important first not to rely on a single factor but on several, especially since this involves a significant life change that necessarily impacts multiple areas of life.
It’s essential to study underlying transits and those of the social planets, and to examine closely their placements within the House system of your chart…
A house like the 4th House is obviously particularly sensitive, but it’s also important to study the various elements indirectly involved in this life change: Is there a new job ?
Does this correspond to (or feel like) a springboard for personal affirmation, or conversely, a painful separation ?
Is this project undertaken as a couple or with family ?
In that case, also study the charts of these close individuals to see if a Synchronicity is at play… etc.
When there’s a cluster of planets in one house, how do you interpret contradictions ? For example, Saturn and Jupiter in the 2nd House: does that signify poverty or wealth ? Saturn and Jupiter in the 5th House: unhappy love or happy love, etc ?
Actually, things are far more complex than that…
First of all, if you have Saturn in the 2nd House, that isn’t solely a factor of poverty, just as having Jupiter in the 2nd House isn’t solely a factor of wealth (see the linked articles)…
But to truly understand this kind of Conjunction, you first need to accept that duality is part of the personality, that the position contains both a thing and its opposite, and that often one side or the other of the conjunction will express itself more prominently, depending on various activations via Progressions and Transits.
Moreover, various factors nuance the strength of these planets; they are rarely perfectly “equal” in the chart.
Certain recurrences act somewhat like weighting coefficients, foremost among them the notion of planetary Rulerships…
For example, returning to your question: if Jupiter is exalted and Saturn is in detriment (thus in Leo or Cancer), Jupiter holds the upper hand.
Conversely, if you have a strong Capricorn recurrence, for example, a stellium with the Ascendant in this sign and the Sun in the 10th House, Saturn will have much to say…
There are truly many factors that nuance this type of interpretation, including, foremost, the intrinsic nature of the planets themselves !
Here, Jupiter/Saturn are social planets, so this will resurface one way or another in your relationships, your socio-professional presence.
If it were Uranus/Mercury, it would be very mental, nervous; Neptune/Moon, very emotional, fluid, confused.
These two personal planets, Mercury and Venus, imply a direct influence on personality, while a resurgence of the transpersonal manifests directly in character…
In short, you really need to look at the chart as a whole to better understand these psychological Complexes and our various Sub-personalities.
